Is it okay to have 100 pages with same keywords to show up at top of Google, MSN and/or Yahoo?

Reposting this question cause last answer was not right. Some person, who knows nothing about SEO says it’s spyware. Say what? Anyway, here it is:

Each of my pages have different title tags, descriptions and content. However, several pages do use the same keyword(phrases). No way around that.

Like several articles may have the keyword phrase: art.
jamelinck,

You are clueless. Spyware has nothing to do with my question in regards to how to setup a website and SEO.

My view is as long as it’s not duplicated content and bad hats tactics. It should be alright.

What gets you to the top of MSN is rarely what gets you to the top of Google. Look at your market and optimize for the search engine they are most likely to use first.

Some words commonly occur on every page of a site. For example, a brand name, a tag line, the words privacy policy, etc etc etc

Also if a section has a topically related navigational element that is on many pages of that section of course those words will be on all of those pages.

    That is totally fine.

Where people run into issues is when they start writing stuff that they think bots would like and do not consider how receptive humans would be to those pages.

Google will only show the page that ranks the highest for that keyword. However, there is a work around. Let’s say you optimized for SEO. You could do another page for affordable SEO and another for SEO Services. If all your pages are optimized for SEO only 1 will rank.

    once again, spyware does that
