I know search engine optimization is a key in ecommerce/online business ventures. How can you do this yourself without paying for it? I’m new at this….

if you want to do it using free info i can say that you will be having trouble doing it. but if you do your research and test it again and again you might find some of the answer. I believe seo expert don’t tell you the secret for free or with paid services. they put it to themselves because knowing the seo secret is a very valuable asset. you just don’t tell others. but if you know the right way to do seo it is easy to has high page rank page because most of the sites are not very good in term of seo. the sites only got in the first page of the search engine because they are older. i believe the key to seo is a lot of original unique content, regularly updated and good structured internal linking. i’m not good at seo but i like to learn more and maybe could be some kind of expert someday. anyhow if you need some info on online biz you can check my profile.
Go to one of the search engines such as Yahoo or Google and type into the search box: ‘free seo tools’ and you will find thousands of helpful pages of free tools and information to make your site search engine friendly.
One quick way is to put Meta tags on your pages (in the HTML code). It takes a little time, but eventually the search engines will see the meta data and will sort your page accordingly. That’s the poor man’s method.
Without optimization you cannot bring traffic…. Whereas there are lots of company doing opyimization for others with a cost.Just take look at the link below to learn more
