Tips to increase your sales by creating a trustworthy website

Comments Off

Even if you have high search engine rankings, people still might not buy from you. The reason for that is that your website might not be trustworthy. Of course, you need a professional web design to create trust.

In addition, there are a few other things that are necessary to convince your website visitors that they should do business with you:

1. Show your visitors who you are

It’s amazing how many Internet businesses don’t list their postal addresses. Do they have something to hide?

If your customers don’t know who you are and where you live they might refrain from doing business with you.

For example, you can find our full contact information here. We link to that page at the bottom of every web page. In addition, our full postal address is listed in the footer of every web page. We do this to make sure that our visitors know who we are.

You should do the same if you’re serious about your business. Show your visitors that you have nothing to hide.

How SEO Services Will Get You a High Conversion Rate

Anyone who creates a website definitely wants the search engines to notice it and even index it as one of the top sites. This mainly depends on what the website is about and what keywords they could be targeting so that they may get the expected traffic. But the problem with many of our websites is that there are too many flash images, pictures, adverts, links, in short, there are many good looking things that are brought to the face of the customers. This is a very big mistake many website developers overlook. They are just out to eat your money and you wonder why your website is not getting any traffic.

If there is one thing I would not like you to forget as you read this is this: ‘whenever anyone is using the search engines, they are mainly looking for information’. This is something you should never forget. For example, if your site is about music and you start advertising things that deal with food, I will probably never visit your site again. You did not give me any information about music. This is just but one of the many examples that exist.

Comments Off

There are hundreds and hundreds of WordPress Plugins to make your blog easier to maintain and more ‘search-friendly’.So, what plugins do I use on my blogs?

I’ve added a short description on each to explain where, why and how I have used them.

I hope this post helps you.

Add Sig Add a custom signature and photo to the bottom of posts with the author’s information. (This is the “about the author” section you see at the end of every post on this blog.)

Akismet Akismet checks the comments your blog receives against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under “Comments” and then delete or approve. (This plugin is a must-have if you get a lot of comment spam.)

The art of writing a link exchange request that is not spam

Comments Off

Link exchange requests have a very bad reputation. The reason for that is that many people send mass link exchange requests that are nothing friendly for SEO more than spam.

However, if you want to get links from authority sites, you have to send link exchange requests. The secret of successful requests is to write link exchange messages that aren’t spam.

Get the reader’s attention

If you want people to read your link exchange message, it should not sound like the dozens of other emails that the webmaster receives. Use the recipient’s real name throughout your message. If your message starts with “Dear webmaster” then it’s likely that it will be moved to the trash. Be personal. Write a personal message for each recipient.

Use a real email address with a real name as the sender address. Free email addresses and email addresses with numbers look spammy.

Get the reader’s interest

What’s in for me? You should answer that question as soon as possible in your email.

Do not list any features. Focus on benefits. First, nobody is really interested in the great features of your website. Tell the recipient how your website solves his problems or the problems of his readers.

Appeal to the ego of the recipient. Tell the recipient that you list only 10 websites in this special category and that he is in that top 10 list. It’s easier to convince people if you appeal to their ego.
